Project Sashakt

Launched in May 2023 by Enactus Dyal Singh College, Project Sashakt enhances personal safety, particularly for women and vulnerable groups, through self-defense training and innovative safety products. In partnership with Tackle FightClub, The Combat Lab, and The Knockout Club, it provides hands-on training and develops eco-friendly safety tools like chili sprays, card knives, and paracord bracelets. The project addresses inequality, helps women to assert boundaries, and challenges gender-based norms. With 368 individuals directly impacted, 3,020 women gaining new opportunities, and 34,000 people accessing safety information, the project fosters resilience, awareness, and empowerment.
Beyond self-defense, Project Sashakt creates income-generating opportunities and promotes gender equality by advocating safety awareness and community well-being. By training hundreds in self-defense and collaborating with NGOs, it builds a culture of security while expanding its reach through sustainable and accessible safety solutions. Aligning with multiple UN SDGs, it continues to drive change by equipping individuals with the skills and tools to safeguard themselves and their communities.
